Hispanic-American Network

The Hispanic American Network at Darden represents the interests of Hispanic American students; creates awareness and promotes the Darden School to prospective Hispanic American MBA candidates; creates, maintains and strengthens ties with Hispanic American Darden alumni; supports career development opportunities for its membership; and partners with the Darden community to promote a forum for exploration of diversity within the Darden, University of Virginia and Charlottesville communities and businesses at large. Membership in HAND is open to all students interested in participating in the Hispanic community at Darden and promoting the purposes of the organization.

Although this organization has members who are University of Virginia students and may have University employees associated or engaged in its activities and affairs, the organization is not a part of or an agency of the University. It is a separate and independent organization which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. The University does not direct, supervise or control the organization and is not responsible for the organization’s contracts, acts or omissions.

    Our events range from social events that aim to share our culture with the rest of the student body to recruitment preparation sessions to ensure our members enter the busy recruitment season full prepared.

    • Coaching from Darden Second Year students and recent alumni
