Darden Worldwide Courses
Darden Worldwide Courses include global immersion courses, global topic courses and global client courses. Recently, these courses have been held in Argentina, Brazil, China, India, Israel, Japan, South Africa, Spain, and Sweden.
Global Immersion Courses
Global immersion courses are 9 day courses led by Darden faculty outside the United States in January, March and May. Each course provides the opportunity to visit a different country and experience its business practices and cultures firsthand. Each course includes classes with practitioner presentations as well as onsite visits to companies, governmental agencies and cultural sites.
Exchange Programs
Darden's exchange programs with partner schools around the world, available to second year students, are also considered to be global immersion experiences.
Global Client Courses
Global client courses include both Kaizen Projects, available to first year students, and Global Consulting Projects, available to second year projects. Both types of course allow students to work directly with an organization on a current challenge.
Executive MBA Format Global Residencies
Executive MBA (EMBA) format students participate in one global residency; Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) students participate in four global residencies. For more information on global residency locations, visit the Global Study page.
The global residencies are designed to be immersive, and programming includes a mix of company visits, talks with industry leaders, meetings with executives, cultural excursions and more.
Darden Worldwide Scholarship Program
The Batten Foundation Darden Worldwide Scholarship program gives every full-time MBA student a scholarship to cover the program fee for their first Darden Worldwide Course.
