Yael Grushka-Cockayne serves as the 10th dean of Darden. Building on Darden’s tradition of rigorous, student-centered learning, Yael brings deep institutional knowledge and broad academic leadership experience. She previously led Darden’s Full-Time MBA and professional degree programs, served as a faculty representative on the Darden School Foundation Board and co-directed the LaCross Institute for Ethical Artificial Intelligence in Business. An award-winning teacher, Grushka-Cockayne has taught across Darden’s MBA, Executive MBA, Part Time MBA, Master of Business Analytics, and executive education programs, covering decision analysis, project management, data science and artificial intelligence. Her research examines forecasting, decision-making under uncertainty, project planning, business analytics and the use of real-time data and machine learning in complex organizations.
