Assistant Dean, The Career Center
McNish joined Darden’s The Career Center as assistant dean in November 2016. He brings over 14 years of MBA program administration leadership and 10 years of business experience to the role.
Most recently, he managed the MBA Career Management Center at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. From 2010–14, he led the career services division supporting students in the full-time MBA, executive MBA, and specialized master’s programs at Michigan State University. McNish also directed Michigan State’s full-time MBA admissions office and served as the associate director for its executive MBA program before finding his passion in MBA career management.
Previously, he was a senior consultant with Capgemini. In that role, he worked in the supply chain management practice, primarily supporting automotive and other manufacturing clients. Previous employers include Delphi, Oracle and A.T. Kearney.
McNish earned his MBA from the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, completing a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from the School of Public & Environmental Affairs. He also earned a business studies certificate from Indiana’s Kelley School of Business.
